Azure Cloud Architect for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Richmond, VA.

Microsoft Certification in Azure Solutions Architect (required)

*This position is hybrid, 3 days per week will be onsite



Responsibilities:

Required Skills:

5 Years - Strong knowledge of cloud fundamentals

5 Years - Knowledge of single and multi-cloud strategies and implications

5 Years - Knowledge and experience in designing cloud solutions encapsulating all aspects of design that meet business requirements.

5 Years - Strong knowledge and experience with Azure network and storage architectures

5 Years - Strong knowledge and experience with Azure Services (examples Azure Key Vault, Entra ID, etc.)

5 Years - Strong knowledge and experience with Azure Functions, Azure Web App/App Service, Containers, micro-services architecture and server-less architecture.

5 Years - Demonstrated knowledge of cloud security principles including zero-trust, network segmentation, just-in-time access, conditional access etc.

5 Years - Knowledge of availability options. Demonstrated experience architecting solutions that meet RPO and RTO objectives in Azure.

5 Years - Effective documentation writing. Candidate should be able to write professional documentation including position papers, architecture documentation

5 Years - Experience in managing cloud-based security posture activities including vulnerability remediation, perimeter defense architecture, encryption

5 Years - Knowledge and experience in DevOps including Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.

5 Years - Knowledge and experience in data storage products like SQL Server, Oracle. Knowledge of non-relational data storage products like Cosmos DB.

5 Years - Experience as an on-premise architect

5 Years - Strong communication skills. Candidate should be able to effectively communicate with technical and business staff.

2 Years - Microsoft Certification in Azure Solutions Architect (required)
