We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking drink orders and making recommendations.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food service operations as needed.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred, particularly in a bartending or nightclub setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation techniques, and beverage trends.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy shifts while maintaining professionalism.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
