We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, demonstrating basic culinary skills.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Help with inventory management by organizing clean dishes and kitchen supplies.
- Participate in cleaning duties after service hours to ensure the kitchen is ready for the next day.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
