Job Title: Data Analyst

2 openings same skill set, 1 for Network and 1 for Device team, Device will be filled first

Duration: starting with 6 months with option to extend or convert to FTE at the end

Location: Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS (maybe Dallas, but they have to be a rockstar)

Onsite requirement: initially in the office more than 3 days. If they have never worked at TMO before, it's hard to adjust. They will need to be onsite more at first until they are fully trained and then can become hybrid.

Qualifying Call Notes:

Supply Chain - when you hit the low point on work that's when you look at the processes, what went well, what didn't go well, and what can we improve? What they are doing internally, we are looking at the scenarios where they have stand alone on prem servers for moving data to different clouds. Going into Azure, redesigning power BI, data lineage (manual process going from point to point - the data started here but where did it go?) - identifying what went well for this effort and what didn't. We are knee deep in the elevate stuff - functional design documents, reporting design documents, hundreds of reports that exist and they need to review, look at the reports and reduce inefficiencies (by SKU, by OEM) how can we involve the report to include consolidation for trackability for products to identify a single source of truth for various lines of business within supply chain to have the ability to monitor business and getting rid of the garbage. Within the device supply chain, they have the 2nd largest on prem server of data - there is a lot of data to move, retire and processes to be evolved.

Day to Day:

Build the reports but do a lot of work on what is behind this, end to end traceability, refactoring of data sources and making sure they exist and that we understand this. They will refactor this.

Meeting with teams and understanding the requirements

Documentation - within the device side, they are lacking documentation.

Skills:

Databricks - Critical (moving from on prem to databricks)

Snowflake (could be a plus)

SQL

Power BI

SQL Job Agent Server for Consolidation

Industry experience: Prior TMO experience is helpful IF they came from supply chain. Understanding supply chain data is preferred because they can speak their language (understanding the logic behind the data)

Great communication - they have to be able to speak at all levels, some level of project management is always beneficial, agile, adaptable
