Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Architect with a strong background in the Telecom domain to join our team working with Infosys/Verizon. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). You will be responsible for leading the architecture and deployment of cloud-based systems to support telecom operations and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) tailored to the telecom domain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and secure cloud architectures.
• Lead the implementation of Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Kubernetes Engine, and AI/ML tools.
• Define and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, security, and compliance in alignment with telecom industry standards.
• Optimize telecom workflows and processes using Google Cloud Platform tools and services, ensuring high performance and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and DevOps teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and applications.
• Stay updated with the latest Google Cloud Platform features and technologies to drive innovation in the telecom domain.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions with existing telecom systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 years of total experience, with significant expertise in the Telecom domain.
• Proven experience as a Google Cloud Platform Architect, with a strong portfolio of cloud solutions designed and implemented for telecom use cases.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and tools, including but not limited to:
• Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions
• IAM, Networking, and Security
• Strong understanding of telecom-specific use cases such as network optimization, billing systems, customer management, and data analytics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform).
• Expertise in cloud security best practices and compliance standards relevant to the telecom industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Cloud Platform Professional Certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer).
• Experience with telecom OSS/BSS systems.
• Knowledge of 5G technologies and their integration with cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools on Google Cloud Platform for predictive analytics and automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and Google Cloud Platform Professional Certification
