Java API Developer

Title: Java API Developer (NY / NJ)

Exp Level: 10 Level Required

Location: NY/ NJ (Hybrid role)

• Spring boot, Docket, Appengine, Rest
• Java 17 and above, Kafka MQ, File processing knowledge
• ( 2 or 3 with Mainframe background is preferred along with above skill)

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

• 7-9 years of experience in software development required with Java, Spring and Angular skills.
• Experience building web applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Experience with core Java, J2EE frameworks, web services, Angular JS, MySQL/Oracle Database.
• Preferred experience in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Web 2.0, Angular, SQL database, Unix/Linux.
• Experience on any Web or application server like Apache, Tomcat, etc.
• Experience developing in Agile delivery programs.
• Financial Domain experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

Role:

• Consult with internal business groups to provide appropriate application software development services or and technical support for business-critical applications.
• Has thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle with emphasis on best practices of design, development, testing and CI/CD.
• Lead the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes and interfaces with other systems. Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating, coding, testing, implementation and documentation.
