Job Title: CNA - Med/Surg Nights

Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Location: Hermiston, OR

Shift: Nights/Days

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Description

The CNA - Med/Surg Nights provides basic nursing care under the direct supervision of Registered Nurses and/or Licensed Practical Nurses in the Medical/Surgical Department.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain patient hygiene and comfort.
• Support nursing staff with patient care tasks.
• Ensure patient safety and follow infection control protocols.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including repositioning patients.
• Document patient care activities accurately.
• Respond to patient call lights promptly.
  
  

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNA.
• Certification: Active CNA license.
• EMR Experience: EPIC preferred.
• Other: Must be able to work holidays as required.
