Had QE for 6 months on this but need additional to supplement software dev
This project has already started but need to expand
This is a data driven project, POS, kiosk, app, are all downstream need to understand what will happen to all of these when migrating
Must Have:
AWS lambdas
GraphQL
Rest API
Postman
Testing process how to start to test, ID what needs to be tested, set up a test environment
Nice to have:
Restaurant experience pos, kiosk, etc. technology
Secondary retail
There will be Jira tickets with all requirements and team leads/product owners who will discuss tickets with them need someone to work independently on initiating activities
Project re-platforming of their current menu platform moving over to diff backend system, testing

YOE: 3-4 relevant experience

We are looking for 2 Quality Engineers starting January till end of June 2025 to support the Menu Platform Modernization project from Onsite (Hybrid Role). The person will need to be in office 2-3 times to support the dynamic nature of the project.

The Day-to-Day:
Able to understand complex business process, technology landscape, related requirements and attend daily stand-up meetings to focus on key focus areas of validation
Able to independently drive validation needs by creating test plan, test scenario, test case, setting up test environment, working with product owner and developer to understand requirements and architecture
Able to coordinate with key onsite counterparts to complete validation and certification activities within agreed upon project timeline
Able to identify, callout out and socialize project risks so that applicable stakeholders can take informed decision
Have automation mindset to identify areas of validation landscape and device quick and light weight automation scripts to enhance test coverage, faster test execution timeline

Is this you?
Have at least 3 years' thorough hands-on experience in software test process, database knowledge, GraphQL, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, Lumigo, JSON, REST API.
Working experience in tools like Microsoft office applications, AWS technologies, Notepad , Postman.
Working knowledge of Point-of-Sale hardware and its accessories is good to have.
Have understanding and knowledge of validation process and methodologies.
Passion to learn new technology and processes curiosity to collaborate with subject matter experts.
