Role : Solution Architect

Job Summary

A mid-senior level Solution Architect for a critical engineering program.

The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.

Technical Skills :

Experience in various software designs, languages, and architecture.

Solution definition and problem-solving skills.

Practical experience in project management.

Familiarity with computer networks and IT security management.

Experience and knowledge of cloud computing. Good understanding of business processes. Strong organizational skills. Strong understanding of analytical skills and techniques. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Perform environmental analysis on quarterly / monthly basis to identify architectural improvement opportunities

Work on complex / long running issues or project as per need

Work with practice teams for capability building, pre-sales support for new opportunities

Evaluate and recommend specific products and platforms to provide cost effective solutions that meet architectural requirements

Ability to create, Contribute and Implements the best practices

Hands-on experience on assessment of environment

Detailed expertise in common infra. Activities (i.e. Patch Mgt., Migrations, Upgrades, Assessments etc.)

Knowledge and understanding of global security policies.

Coordinate deployment of network security infrastructure with other members of IT organization.

Work on Service Improvement Plan and Innovations. Experience on tools like Chef, Ansible etc. will be an added advantage.

Skilled in coordinating with other teams to manage dependencies on other teams and stakeholders

Skilled in anticipating problems and roadblocks and effectively communicating and managing them

Excellent communication skills with team leadership ability

Excellent client facing and presentation skills.

Ability to work under fixed timelines and meet deadlines

Roles & Responsibilities :

This role needs a dynamic, technology savvy person with strong consultation flavor, involves designing and providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions.

It also involves debugging and creating performance analysis on implemented solutions.

They will also need to document and share best practices and advocate for process improvements. Other daily tasks include communication with teams, customers, and project stakeholders, as well as providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

The responsibilities of a solutions architect involve understanding potentially complex problems and finding all the possible solutions accurately defining the issue and the requirement.

They will also need to assess the technical needs and capabilities during implementation. With analytical approach, solutions architects need to understand all of the technologies and topics related to a business to have a deep enough understanding to create a solution.

They need to research and understand new technologies and solutions.

Solutions architects will also be in regular communication with IT specialists and enterprise architects to develop and implement complex technology and business solutions.

Tools :

LeanIX EAM, Enterprise Architect and related tools.

Education qualification :

Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems and / or equivalent formal training or work experience.

Certifications Needed :

Relevant certifications for Solution Architect
