SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Location: Topeka, Kansas
Salary: $135K - $145K
SIRIS seeks a motivated and licensed Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Project Manager on a VA Medical Center Construction Program in Topeka, Kansas. This position will report to the program director and collaborate with and assist VA client staff in providing data and generating reports.
Responsibilities
The Senior Electrical Engineer will act as Project Manager and lead a team of design, engineering, and construction professionals as well as act as the Owner's representative from design through construction and closeout. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be required to learn, teach, and implement industry and SIRIS best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality, and operations in the healthcare environment. The Senior Electrical Engineer will require experience leading and mentoring a team of professionals and experience as an advisor/liaison with the client (user groups, design team, contractors, and facility engineering representatives). The Senior Electrical Engineer, along with other SIRIS program team members, will provide design and construction management services as part of traditional Design-Bid-Build and Design/Build contracts.

viii. Performing additional construction-related services
ix. Claims Analysis and Resolution Services

Required Qualifications
- Education: The Senior Mechanical Engineer shall be a licensed professional and hold a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from an accredited school.
- Licensing: PE
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in both design and construction.
- Experience running design and construction projects for medical facilities.
- Knowledge: Able to quickly understand and master local, state and federal requirements
- Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and Drawings to readily understand and assess the requirements.
- Working knowledge of engineering services, building codes, budgeting, and scheduling to lead to the project's success.
- Leadership: Must possess the skillset and competency to supervise and manage personnel of diverse skill sets.
- Experience with managing project teams on Federal government projects.
- CCM, PMP certifications
