Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate

Sirius Staffing is seeking multiple Warehouse/Packaging/Forklift Operators in Blair, NE area. These roles offer full-time, long-term opportunities with a leading chemical manufacturer. You will play a crucial role in warehouse operations, including operating forklifts, performing packaging tasks, and supporting the overall logistics of our supply chain.

Rate $21.63/hr for the Mon - Fri 8-430 schedule

Rate $22.71/hr for the 12/hour rotating schedule shifts

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to transport, load, and unload materials.
• Perform packaging tasks, including sorting, labeling, and managing shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, SAP transactions, and MRO inventory management.
• Handle receiving, shipping, kitting, and proper storage of materials.
• Distribute parts and equipment for projects and production needs.
• Coordinate material flow with production, maintenance, and logistics teams.
• Review pick tickets and ensure timely availability of maintenance materials.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and adjust packaging machinery as needed.
• Identify, manage, and reprocess damaged products.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a warehouse environment, with the ability to pass site-specific certification.
• Experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, and logistics.
• Ability to accurately count and identify shipments to match manifest contents.
• Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing stairs, bending, and overhead reaching.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Working Conditions:
This position will require you to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate machinery such as forklifts. The work schedule may involve shifts, weekends, and holidays to meet the demands of our operations.
