How you'll make an impact :
The Video Shooter / Editor shoots and edits video for Video Programming, SiriusXM Partners, Sponsorship / Ad Sales and SiriusXM social properties. This person will be responsible for the video production process from capture through post-production, shooting and editing footage of in-studio interviews, music performances and original content pieces. Additionally, this person will travel to off-site events throughout the country. Producer will work alongside the Social Media team to conceptualize original content pitches for incoming talent.
What you'll do :
- Executes video production and post-production for live in-studio and off-site content captures, digital exclusives, direct-to-cameras, and different content capture requests.
- Collaborates with various departments and teams involved in video production requests to ensure effective communication and deliver high-quality productions on time and within budget.
- Contributes to the development of content strategies for video and digital assets, taking into consideration the target audience, platform-specific requirements, and marketing goals.
- May collaborate with marketing teams to ensure that the produced content is optimized for various digital channels and aligned with the overall company strategy.
- Edits own video content as well as content shot by others. Should have experience with sound design, audio mixing, color correcting, and editing specs for different content and delivery platforms.
- Executes and collaborates with editors and post-production teams to ensure that the final product meets the creative vision and is delivered on time.
- Oversees the backup, uploads, and delivery of all raw and edited video footage. Archives and retrieves footage requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel required to shoot and edit off-site events and content captures
