How you’ll make an impact:
The Part-Time Merchandising and eCommerce Assistant is integral to the smooth operation and growth of SiriusXM’s ecommerce business. By supporting various aspects of merchandising and online sales, this role contributes to an enhanced customer experience, optimized inventory management, increased sales, and efficient administrative processes. Ultimately, this role helps the company achieve its business goals and maintain support of listeners fandom to the content they love.
What you’ll do:
- Product Management:
- Assist in selecting and sourcing products.
- Help maintain product catalogs and ensure accurate and up-to-date product information.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely product delivery.
- Inventory Control:
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Assist in managing the inventory management system.
- Online Store Management:
- Upload new products to the eCommerce platform, including product descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Ensure the online store is visually appealing and easy to navigate.
- Assist in setting up promotional campaigns and discounts on the eCommerce platform.
- Sales and Promotions:
- Support the planning and execution of marketing and promotional activities.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and suggest strategies to increase sales.
- Assist in creating and scheduling social media content to promote products and sales.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Process customer orders and returns efficiently.
- Gather and report customer feedback to improve products and services.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the merchandising and eCommerce teams.
- Maintain organized records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.
What you’ll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent; currently pursuing or completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or eCommerce is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
