Processing Sanitation Associate

Our in-house produce processing facility, Christine’s Cuts, we got you covered.  We distribute our fresh arrivals 6 days a week to restaurants, hotels, country clubs, schools, and institutions throughout Ohio, Central Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia. You can count on us to provide nothing less than fresh! Our business, like yours, depends on delivering the very best, and since 1939, Sirna & Sons Produce has been doing just that. 

Essential Functions: 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of processing areas 

• Keep the floors clear of debris 

• Stock supplies and replenish chemicals 

• Handle trash and discard it into compacter 

• Flatten the cardboard and transfer to the baler

• Be extremely reliable and dependable, on time, and eager to work 

• Ability to accept and put into action changes from constructive guidance 

• Maintain a mindset of constant improvement 

• Be able to work well independently and as part of a team, ready to do whatever is needed 

• Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, OSHA, and Food Safety regulations 

Competencies, Experience, and Education: 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

• Ability to work with others in a team environment 

• Active listening skills 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent 

• Speak and write English satisfactorily 

• Valid identification or driver’s license (if appropriate 

Schedule: 

•  Monday – Friday (Day Shift) 

Compensation: 

• $16.00 - $18.00/hour
