Description Of Duty

- Business Requirements Gathering:
- Lead requirements gathering meetings and facilitate discussions with stakeholders.
- Document business and system requirements using industry-standard analysis and documentation techniques.
- Review and synthesize existing system and process documentation to identify gaps and improvements.
Systems Design
- Provide input to systems design based on business requirements and technical feasibility.
- Create and update system specifications to align with business objectives.
Testing
- Actively participate in system testing, executing test cases, and validating results to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
- Prepare and manage test data, ensuring comprehensive coverage of various use cases and scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams for resolution. Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working with business users to validate system performance and usability.
User Training
- Assist in developing and delivery of User Training
Implementation
- Assist in the preparation of implementation plans as required by Project Management
- Participate in implementation activities as required by Project Management
Support
- Assist in issue identification, tracking, and troubleshooting efforts as required by Project Management and/ or Support Management; with direction, act as “go-to” resource for Production concerns.
Risk & Compliance
- Adhere to audit policies and procedures as dictated by SOX, SAS70, and other company-wide and departmental controls.
- Assist Project Management and in identifying areas of potential business risk.
- Promote excellence in quality and customer service through work performed individually as well as within the department.
Education/Certification Requirements
- Either:
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and/or appropriate certifications, OR
- 5 years’ experience with business processes within or similar to those in place at Sirva
- At least 3 years in a technical environment doing business analysis OR
- 5 years of experience with business processes within or like those in place at Sirva
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including Backlogs and Test Plans, for requirements tracking and bug logging.
- Experience with project software including Visio and MS Project is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and organizational skills are required
- Knowledge and experience in either:
- Requirements gathering and functional system design OR
- Business processes within or like those in place at Sirva & moving industry
- Ability to work in technical environments
- Ability to work on a team with:
- Business Subject Matter Experts and Sponsors
- IT Development Team Members (Project Managers, other Business Analysts, IT developers)
