What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Procurement Administrative Support position at SiS - Southern Interior Solutions?
Design Procurement Administrative Support plays a critical role in the design and procurement management processes of an organization. Their primary responsibility is to support the design and procurement team by handling administrative tasks.
Duties include:
- Support design team with pre-sale project documentation and presentation materials
- Post sales coordination including project related order tracking documentation that includes but is not limited to vendor customer service follow-up.
- Order and Acknowledgement verification
- Maintain and update vendor records, including contracts, pricing agreements, and contact details
- Assist in vendor onboarding and ensure compliance with company policies
- Communicate with vendors regarding order status, discrepancies, and invoicing issues
- Installation coordination with end-user and installation team to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Provide design support including installation document coordination including but not limited to furniture plans, renderings, installation instructions, and care package material.
- Provide resource management and maintenance - maintain organized records of project related samples and documentation. Coordinate vendor meeting and lunch/learns.
- Keep track of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Ensure that the office environment is clean and organized, including management of samples library
- Marketing and social media support
Qualifications;
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in an architectural, design, or furniture industry is a plus
