Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Inpatient Certified / Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting standardized tests and implementing treatment plans for patients as directed by the primary OTR/L, including all related written and verbal communication. He/she will assist in maintaining the efficient operation of the hospital and providing a safe environment for our patients. Our COTA staff have daily contact with other staff, physicians, patients, patients' families related to treatment program of assigned patients. They provide student supervision as assigned and serve as a resource person for rehab technicians/aides, volunteers, and visitors relative to patient care.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program including successful completion of clinical fieldwork requirements.
Experience: None required.
Licensure/Certification

Licensure/Certification
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Tennessee
- Maintains ongoing CPR certification
- Obtains thermal and electrical modalities certifications for Tennessee prior to performing modalities
- Willingness to continue education and professional training.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to complete tasks in individual and team capacity.
- Willingness to accept and give constructive criticism.
- Computer skills required.
