Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator, loader, Kasto to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various saws and cutting equipment to produce high-quality components for our projects. This position requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 3 weeks paid PTO first year.
Duties
- Operate saws and cutting equipment according to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Measure and mark materials using calipers and other hand tools to ensure precise cuts.
- Program CNC machines for automated cutting processes as needed.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Utilize AutoCAD for reading and interpreting technical drawings when necessary.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and material handling with forklifts as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar role within the millwork or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is a plus.
- Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is beneficial for interpreting design specifications.
- Experience working in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
