3rd Shift "Working" Lead Man

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB

Responsible for supervising warehouse employees and ensuring safe and efficient operation of the warehouse, along with completing other various working tasks. This position is a "Working Leadman" position.

Monday-Friday 1:30PM-9:30PM ________________________________________________________________________

JOB ACTIVITIES

Essential Functions

1. Supervise warehouse employees.

2. Delegate work assignments to appropriate personnel.

3. Complete all required paperwork.

4. Investigate and address inventory problems and loading issues.

5. Conduct shift meetings with employees to discuss safety, employee issues and operations issues.

6. Administer disciplinary action to employees.

7. Interact with maintenance department to address equipment problems, submit work orders, etc.

8. Determine staffing needs.

9. Run sideloader

10. CNC

11. Spotter Driver

12. Run Somerset

Nonessential Functions

• Maintains housekeeping.
• Interact with representatives from other departments and branches as necessary.
• Demonstrates ability and accepts responsibility to perform other duties assigned by the plant superintendent.

Physical Requirements

95% Standing/Walking throughout warehouse

10% Sitting to complete paperwork/use computer

10% Climbing stairs/ladders

10% Kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping to check loads and inventory

Other Requirements

Must wear required personal protective equipment.
