GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
Utilizing the telephone, represent Siskin Steel & Supply in the selling of Steel, Aluminum, Stainless and related products to assigned customers/territories. Manage and oversee inside and processing sales personnel.
JOB ACTIVITIES
Essential Functions
1. Actively Manage Team of Inside Sales Representatives
2. Work with Management and Outside Sales Team to foster a positive business relationship with all accounts
3. Analyze accounts and develop account strategy
4. Work with management and outside sales to develop and implement plans to secure new accounts and further progress current accounts
5. Motivate sales team to meet and exceed company sales and profit objectives
6. Maintain a high level of product knowledge with the ability to pass knowledge on to the sales team as well as customers
7. Resolve any issues that arise with customers and other departments within the company
Non-Essential Functions
1. Not required to visit the plant to confirm material.
