Job Summary:

Sisneros Bros. Manufacturing is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our fabrication team in Belen. This is an excellent opportunity for those eager to learn and grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will be trained on the job to transform flat sheets of metal into high-quality ductwork components, utilizing various fabrication techniques including laser cutting, rolling, edge forming, and TIG/MIG welding. We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:

• On-the-Job Training: Participate in comprehensive training to learn and master fabrication processes, including laser cutting, rolling, edge forming, and TIG/MIG welding.
• Metal Fabrication: Assist in the fabrication of ductwork components from flat sheets of metal, following specifications and blueprints.
• Equipment Operation: Learn to operate and maintain fabrication equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards and specifications.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and maintain a productive work environment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, including punctuality, consistent attendance, and a commitment to staying busy and productive.
• Measurement: Accurately measure and cut materials using tape measures and other tools.

Qualifications:

• Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to on-the-job training.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Tape Measure Proficiency: Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure (preferred).
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in measurements and fabrication.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Prior fabrication or welding experience is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
