Part Time/Seasonal Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and dedicated Floral Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting flowers to various locations with a smile while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and a great deal of flexibility. In this job, you get to deliver products that bring joy and smiles every day.

Company delivery vehicle provided for part-time employee. Contractors will need to provide their own vehicle. We are considering two types of positions:

Part Time Employee: Willing to work most Saturdays and up to 1 additional day during the week. Hours in a day vary from 2-3 hours to up to 6-8 hours during peak periods around the holidays. Use of company vehicle for deliveries.

Part Time Contractor: Willing to flex and work as needed to fill in during peak periods, but also willing to work Saturday's as needed. Would need to provide their own vehicle and/or insurance.

Pay will be based on experience and includes tips. Primarily looking for 1 driver, but may consider more depending on the applicants and their flexibility.

Duties

• Operate delivery vehicles, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload delicate products carefully
• Manage delivery schedules effectively to meet customer expectations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Handle lifting and moving of products as required, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations.
• Strong communication skills. This role requires coordination with shop staff and customers.

• Experience and Requirements
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to submit to a background check.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to perform lifting tasks safely and efficiently. There is minimal heavy lifting, but some products are bulky and fragile.
