Overview

The Direct Store Delivery team collaborates cross-functionally to develop and implement best-in-class merchandising solutions. It is DSD’s primary objective to win in store and enhance the value of Beiersdorf’s brands. The Suncare Sales Representative, Key West, is responsible for driving store level sales and market share growth for key retailers Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens and other selected stores in the Miami, Key West market. This role must provide superior customer service and cultivate strong relationships to achieve its objective.

Responsibilities

• Enhances sales through Direct Store Delivery (DSD) business model.
• Ensures our customer “Four P” plans agreed to at headquarters are implemented in store.
• Demonstrates relationships with store decision makers to negotiate increased brand presence through secondary locations and incremental displays.
• Ensures product is packed out at shelf during peak season, major promotions and holiday periods
• Must be able to efficiently handle inventory in vans and mini warehouses. This includes successful inventory counts that closely align with shipment and sales data.
• Responsible for effectively using a part time resource “Merchandiser” to complete the duties of this role.
• Runs schedule and route within assigned Territory, based on business objectives and retailer needs. Meets call coverage targets each month.
• Uses iPad to engage in two-way communication, including product ordering, surveys, and product display suggestions.
• Shares standard processes and opportunities with Suncare team, communicates unique market dynamics/insights during peak season.
• Provides support to other Business Unit(s) during Suncare off-season.
• Meets administrative deadlines as directed by manager.
  
  

Qualifications

• Reside within territory geographic area and ability to travel within Territory, up to 4 hours
• High School graduate or equivalent required
• A minimum of 1-year related sales or merchandising experience required
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License, to operate/drive company provided vehicle
• Ability to effectively build customer relationships and credibility with various store level personnel and departments
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Demonstrated selling and negotiation ability, including excellent presentation skills
• Ability to work independently
• Prioritization and organizational skills
• Problem solving/solution finding ability
• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Verbal and written communication skills
• MS Office Suite knowledge, proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint preferred
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds and move greater than 100 cases per day as needed
