Position Overview

We're seeking experienced STEM tutors to provide one-on-one online instruction to high school, college, and graduate students, as well as working professionals. As a SiSTEM tutor, you'll help students master complex STEM subjects and prepare for standardized exams while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for real-world success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, engaging online tutoring sessions in STEM subjects
• Create customized learning plans based on individual student needs and goals
• Provide exam preparation support for STEM-based standardized tests
• Track and document student progress
• Maintain regular communication with students and SiSTEM team
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of educating, teaching or tutoring experience in any of the following:

• Excellent digital communication and virtual teaching skills using Zoom or Google Meet
• Proficiency with online learning platforms and educational technology

• Industry experience in STEM fields, majors or careers
• Teaching certification or formal educational training
• Experience with online tutoring platforms
