JOB TITLE: Groundskeeper
DEPARTMENT: Grounds
LOCATION: Merion, PA
REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Competencies and Experience
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the following education, competencies, and experience:
- Three years of grounds keeping experience with one of these years in a commercial or institutional setting preferred.
- Possesses generalized basic knowledge of the practices, and methods used in gardening and landscaping maintenance.
- Possesses the ability to operate the equipment associated with gardening and landscaping maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have a “clean” Motor Vehicle Record.
- Ability to maintain good communication in working with Sisters of Mercy, fellow employees and external contractor.
- Demonstrates the ability to multitask, the ability to prioritize work and pay close attention to details.
- Successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including a physical, tb test, drug test and background check.
