What do Dietary Aides do at SND?

The Dietary Aide must be compassionate with persons who are ill, disabled, and elderly.

Preparing individual dietary menus based on patients' medical conditions, physical health, preferences, and distastes.

Assisting with meal preparation and serving.

Inspecting special dietary meals to ensure they comply with the dietary restrictions of that sister.

Monitoring patients' eating habits and reporting problems with swallowing, chewing, or loss of appetite to the Dietary Manager.

The Dietary Aide assists the Manager and staff with determining kitchen supplies and stock for the day, as well as checking and maintaining stock levels and replacing stock as needed.

Assisting with cleaning duties including dish washing, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash and recycling, returning clean dishes and utensils, pots and pans to their proper locations.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $16.00 per hour
