Is responsible to complete all jobs according to job break down sheet. These positions involves working in a kitchen environment to prepare and serve quality meals while maintaining sanitary conditions. Gives witness to the Franciscan values of reconciliation, peace and justice, responsible stewardship and respect for the individual.
Requirements :
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Is responsible for washing and sanitizing all work areas before and after work.
- Ensures hands are washed before starting work and often during shift. Must wear name tag and pull hair back.
- Is responsible for completing all assigned jobs may include :
- prepare items for trayline according to tally sheet
- scullery from food prep and replenishing items
- dishwasher duties
- trayline duties
- compost duties
- laundry duties
- cleaning duties according to job break down list
- clear line in GA as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Knowledgeable regarding all safe food preparation for trayline. Proper cleaning and sanitizing in a food preparation area knowledge.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Full time hours. Indoor environment that may involve some standing and lifting up to 25 lbs. in a kitchen environment.
ACCOUNTABLITY
Is responsible to Food Service Co-coordinators.
