Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic After-School Activities Leader to join our team at Sisters Who Care, LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating community activities that promote personal growth and social interaction among individuals with developmental disabilities. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities tailored to the interests and abilities of individuals served.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages participation and social interaction.
- Collaborate with team members to assess individual needs and adapt activities accordingly.
- Monitor participant engagement and provide feedback to enhance their experience.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and participant progress.
Requirements
- Experience in childhood development or special education is preferred.
- Strong skills in activity facilitation.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and communicate effectively with individuals of varying abilities.
