TAX SUPERVISOR

Sisterson & Co. LLP, a regional CPA firm located in Pittsburgh, PA, is hiring qualified candidates to join our tax team. We are seeking local and remote candidates to serve as our next Tax Supervisor.

Tax Supervisors deliver quality tax services to clients of the firm. Supervisors review individual, trusts, non-profit, and business tax returns, with the ability to train and advise staff and senior level accountants on interesting and complex engagements.  As a supervisor you will utilize tax-related software to review tax returns and research tax matters as they relate to the needs of the client.

You will succeed in this role if you:

• Enjoy the public accounting industry and want to continue advancing in your career
• Bring 5 years of tax return preparation experience (forms 1065, 1120, 1040, 990)
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA not required)
• Provide excellent technical and project management skills
• Have solid knowledge of tax code, laws, and regulations
• Effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form
• Exhibit an advanced level of professionalism when representing the firm
