Job Description
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Sistersville Center, you will play a vital role in delivering efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to evaluate patients/residents, collect data, observe conditions, and report changes in condition.
You will also contribute to nursing assessments and care planning, administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders, and supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending LPN licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
