Your Role
We're seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Business Analyst to join our team in Switzerland. As a key member of our aircraft finance team, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex business processes into streamlined, automated workflows.
You will work collaboratively across various departments, identifying opportunities for efficiency, implementing digital solutions, and training teams to harness the full potential of digital tools for enhanced productivity and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Automation: Analyze SITA's Aircraft finance processes, Excel models, and reporting structures to identify automation opportunities. Propose digital solutions for automating financial reporting (PnL, billing, revenue) and business procedures (pre-sales, budgeting, forecasting, planning, performance tracking).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Gather requirements from stakeholders across the organization. Develop technical solutions that align with SFA technology guidelines and business needs. Ensure seamless communication and integration of new digital processes.
- Solution Development: Write functional and technical requirements, including UX/UI specifications, for new tools and dashboards. Identify data sources and collaborate with data owners to ensure data accuracy, availability, and seamless integration. Work closely with the engineering department to develop and introduce solutions within set timelines. Complete user acceptance testing of developed solutions.
- Project Coordination: Define automation project plans and track execution to ensure deadlines are met, deliverables are on track, and business objectives are aligned.
- Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and develop end-user guides to empower teams with the knowledge and skills to utilize digital tools effectively. Provide ongoing support to ensure the successful adoption and utilization of digital solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement feedback loops to continuously improve developed tools and reports. Manage the evolution roadmap for tools, prioritizing based on end-user requirements and feedback. Ensure timely data refreshes for accurate and timely reporting.
- Finance Reporting Automation: Analyze current finance reporting capabilities, propose solutions for streamlining and automation, and develop a comprehensive business performance dashboard. Collaborate with process and data owners to identify opportunities for automation or consolidation. Implement changes, document solutions, and establish a maintenance framework. Manage the tool evolution backlog with the analytics team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or economics.
- Min 5 years experience in business analyst role, in a complex and international work environment, involving knowledge of product lifecycle processes, methodologies, and tools used in managing product performance.
- Experience in the Aviation, Air Travel Industry, Transportation Services, or IT/Telecommunications is a plus.
- Extensive experience in business analysis and intelligence with a focus on automating and digitizing business processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI) and MS excel, creating Power BI dashboards, extracting data, analyzing, and advising on solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into digital solutions.
- Experience in managing projects in tools development, producing technical documentation, and providing user training.
- Understanding of financial principles, pricing, and budget management.
- Proven experience in building complex financial models in MS Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
- Ability to promote collaboration through cross-functional communication and teamwork to optimize processes and achieve collective goals.
- Ability to embrace change, adapt quickly, and advocate for flexibility and continuous improvement.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is CHF 90,000 - CHF 110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
