Job Summary:

This is an optical lab position that requires actual hands on experience in a lens finishing lab. All applicants without relevant experience need not apply.

Main Job Duties:

⦁ Perform various tasks related to optical lens manufacturing and production, including lens cutting, edging, and finishing.

⦁ Follow precise instructions and specifications to ensure accurate and high-quality lens production.

⦁ Conduct quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and integrity of finished lenses.

⦁ Collaborate with opticians and optometrists to ensure proper lens fitting and prescription fulfillment.

⦁ Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications:

⦁ Experience working in an optical or ophthalmology setting is required.

⦁ Proficient in laboratory techniques related to lens production is required.

⦁ Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

⦁ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

⦁ Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and optical principles.

⦁ Familiarity with quality assurance processes in optical manufacturing.

⦁ Knowledge of retail sales practices in the optical industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
