In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of professional meetings and events, including selecting venues, arranging transportation, and coordinating services. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution from start to finish and monitor event activities to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet with clients to understand their objectives and preferences
* Plan and execute events, including selecting venues, arranging transportation, and coordinating services
* Coordinate event services such as rooms, transportation, and food service
* Monitor event activities to ensure client satisfaction and make adjustments as needed
* Review event bills and approve payments
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under pressure. You should also be proficient in computer software, including internet search engines, shared network files, MS Excel spreadsheets, MS Word documents, and MS Outlook.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of problem-solving, strategic planning, and budget management. They should also be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and suppliers. Bonus for On-Site Conference Hours: 15% of fee charged to client for days worked on-site.
