Maintenance Mechanic / Technician

Hours : 2nd shift 1pm-9pm

Pay :  $25-$35 / hour based on experience

Job Description :

Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in industrial establishment.

Essential Functions :

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager or Department Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment and installing new machinery to meet production needs and to satisfy customer specifications.  This work will be completed within a growing organization that utilizes automation, preventative maintenance and inventory control systems in a clean environment that adheres to strong 5S and safety standards.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills :

• 3 – 5  years of previous Maintenance experience required
• Ability to perform scheduled preventative maintenance  on all equipment
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems and make repairs as needed
• Previous experience with Frech and Techmire zinc die casting machines preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude required
• Experience working with robotics is a plus
• Ability to work independently and successfully manage multiple assignments to meet deadlines with the objective of minimizing downtime
• Use a variety of hand and power tools along with material handling equipment in performing duties
• Comply with all safety regulations

Salary : $25 - $30
