Pipe Fitter
1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
27-$35 / hour based on experience
Job Description :
As a result of continued growth, we are seeking an experienced pipe fitter to join our team.
Responsibilities :
- Study and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and configuration of piping systems.
- Select, measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications using various tools and equipment.
- Assemble and install piping systems according to design specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure the integrity and functionality of the piping system. Identify and rectify any issues or leaks.
- Work closely with other construction professionals, such as plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians, to ensure the integration of piping systems with other building components.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine the appropriate corrective actions.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including as-built drawings, material lists, and equipment specifications.
