We are currently recruiting for a 1st Shift QA / QC Laboratory Technician at a company located in Milwaukee.
This position is paying $23 an hour and is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
The schedule would be Monday to Friday 6 : 30am to 2 : 30pm.
The company is seeking a QA / QC Laboratory Technician to perform chemical and physical laboratory tests, providing support to R&D, Prodduction, and external partners. The role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids and liquids in work-in-progress and final products.
Qualifications :
- Two-year associate degree / certificate in a scientific field, ideally chemistry, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years in a laboratory within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
- Strong math skills, including unit conversions and multi-step calculations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
- A commitment to accuracy and quality in their work.
- A sense of urgency and responsibility in meeting deadlines.
