We are seeking a Business / Operations Analyst who is responsible for supporting strategic decision-making by conducting research, financial modeling, and operational analysis to evaluate new business opportunities and optimize company performance. This position works closely with senior leadership to develop business cases for new products and market expansions and supports financial close processes and reporting.
What You’ll Do :
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to evaluate new business and product opportunities.Develop financial models to assess the viability, risks, and ROI of new markets and products.Work with CEO, CFO, and senior leaders to define business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.Create business cases and presentations to support strategic decision-making and Board discussions.Assist in developing financial plans and forecasts for new product launches and business expansion.Analyze operational efficiencies and provides recommendations to optimize cost structures, pricing, and revenue models.Support the Controller in financial close processes, including reconciliation, variance analysis, and reporting.Develop KPIs and dashboards to track financial and operational performance.Identifies opportunities to streamline internal processes and improve operational effectiveness.Collaborates with across teams to align financial planning with business goals.Assist in the implementation of financial tools, software, and reporting systems.Requirements :
What We’re Looking For…
A bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a related discipline plus 3-5 years of related work experience in financial planning or business analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and business case development.Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.Proficiency in Excel, SQL, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and financial modeling software.Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to executives and Board members.Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage team members at all levels in the organization.Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making approach.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile startup environmentIdeal candidates also have…
