Aerial Lineman

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lineperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, particularly in high voltage environments, and will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical lines and equipment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on experience with various tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical lines.
• Operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers and bucket trucks safely on construction sites.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various tasks including cabling and welding.
• Conduct utility locating to ensure safe digging practices are followed.
• Perform routine inspections of electrical systems using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working in high voltage environments.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months verifiable experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Class A Driver’s License (CDL).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid DOT Health Card.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to communicate and listen effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate hand tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe manner.

Pay: $29.93 - $33.08 per hour
