We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Community Coordinator to join our Minneapolis office, playing a pivotal role in both office management and community engagement initiatives. This role involves approximately 70% office management responsibilities and 30% community-building efforts, making it an ideal opportunity for those passionate about blending office administration with creating an inclusive and thriving work environment.
The Office is home to our 70-plus employees based in the Minneapolis area. We have a canteen that serves lunch that is prepared by Chef Colin and a bar where employees gather for drinks. We also have regular Donut and Bagel days.
Since our office is part of a complex, we also have access to some great on-site amenities such as a fitness center and a wellness center, three restaurants ranging from premier dining to casual, and a Caribou coffee shop.
What you will be doing
- Office Management (70%):
- Maintain the overall functionality and appearance of the Minneapolis office, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
- Provide virtual Holiday / Sickness cover for facilities for other North American offices Bellevue, ensuring consistent standards.
- Oversee office supplies and equipment.
- Ensure building-specific safety and compliance measures; liaise directly with the building management team.
- Coordinate office events, meetings, and conferences, handling logistics, meeting room scheduling, and setup.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities management and liaise with external vendors.
- Organize ad-hoc breakfasts, lunches, etc to be delivered to the office for meetings.
- Weekly sharing of Chef Colin’s menus for the following 2 weeks on internal communication channels.
- Update of Siteimprove Intranet Site for Minneapolis Office (Sintra).
- Generation of Si ID Cards, liaising with Si Security Team.
- Generating expense reports.
Community & Belonging (30%):- Support seamless onboarding and offboarding processes by warmly welcoming onsite new hires, aiding in onboarding, including IT/desk setup, as well as efficiently retrieving equipment during employee terminations.
- Collaborate with Diversity Equality & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to create and nurture a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Plan and help support community-focused events, workshops, and activities.
- Manage location-specific DEI calendar of events in coordination with DEI and HR leadership.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to align community-building with overall company goals.
- Aid with ad-hoc HR projects when required.

Base pay will depend on the position, individual qualifications, market, and other operational business needs.
