Position Overview
The Production Manager manages production personnel and is also responsible for controlling and managing the inventory, as well as production processes, necessary to meet business objectives.
What you’ll do:
• Manage bagging production staff and provide work direction, coaching, and training, in addition to supporting new hire recruitment
• In collaboration with other business leaders, review sales results, problems, backlogs, and future business strategies
• Analyze inventory requirements based on a variety of internal and external factors to ensure that proper inventory levels are maintained to meet sales demand
• Provide inventory insight to the sales team, field technicians, and other SiteOne personnel as appropriate
Skills We Are Seeking
• 2 to 3 years working in a production-related field that involves budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling
• 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience, including placement, work direction, coaching, and performance management
• Must be able to work some Saturdays to meet production needs
• Must have knowledge and understanding on Preventative Maintenance and Operator Ownership of equipment
• Knowledge of supply management systems, processes, and practices
• Proven skills in interpersonal communications, negotiation, conflict resolution, and high-level skills in organizational effectiveness, or general management consulting
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
