We are looking for an experienced nursery professional to lead our large greenhouse operation in Greenwich CT.  Come join an energic team focused on serving high quality plant material to our customers in a fast paced environment.  

What you’ll do:

• Take ownership of day to day operations of the greenhouse department which will include managing inventory, shipping and receiving, and providing exceptional customer service.
• Assist Branch Manager with the sales and operations planning process, statistical demand forecasting, and integration of supply and demand plans.
• Build and develop a team of associates in line with our SiteOne DNA
• Promote an incident-free environment by emphasizing safety daily through leading by example.
• Encourage a strong safety culture through workplace organization, training and executing policies.
• Understand and execute the principles of inventory management, target customer mix and sales.
• Create a positive environment for employees which encourages teamwork in alignment with SiteOne DNA.

• 1-3 years of experience in the green industry and an understanding of live plant material and other nursery products, preferred
• Excellent customer service and management skills
• Experience with sales and operations planning and forecasting
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals; including debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable and budgets.
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
• For Internal Candidates Only: Line of Business (LOB) Certification Level I or higher, preferred
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent
