As a Senior Analyst of Business Science, you will have the opportunity to develop Analytical processes to support things like the Operational Success of SiteOne’s Supply Chain network and dig deep into our field operations. Given our digital sales growth and the increasing role that digital fulfillment is playing in the marketplace, this role is critical to ensuring we deliver on the customer experience while ensuring disciplined financial performance and capacity management. Reporting to the Manager of Business Intelligence, you will be supported along the way to challenge your partners to drive continued success and to provide them with analytical insights into their performance. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs, but the role will have accountability to delivering the following:

• Ownership of core routines for analyzing the onboarding opportunities for suppliers and effectiveness of our network.
• Building models and reporting, which help evaluate operations and guide recommendations as you engage with business partners daily.
• Develop ad hoc analytics to explain key business drivers, size the fiscal impact of various changes, and influence strategic decisions.
• Participate in national carrier negotiations and capacity conversations, modeling the fiscal impact of proposals and helping our business partners drive towards optimal outcomes.
• Part of a larger team with overall responsibilities within Business Intelligence Engineering and Insight delivery.

• 4-year college degree with equivalent experience (4 years) in, Data Analysis, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Finance, and/or Supply Chain Operations
• Strong technical skill set for analytics and data transformation (e.g., SQL, Python, R, DAX)
• Ability to identify and share a story with facts and data, concisely and meaningfully.
• High degree of financial acumen and comfortable developing multiple scenarios to communicate a risk adjusted range of expected performance.
• Willingness to make recommendations with a progress over perfection mindset.
• Ability to work with all levels of management with an elevated level of autonomy, motivation, and self-direction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to establish and nurture connections across the enterprise to build a network of partners and resources.
• Driven with a natural curiosity, ability to listen to partners, ask questions and look within the data for outliers and connections to improve upon existing tools and processes.
• Experience in influencing without authority to facilitate process improvement and streamline workflows
