What You’ll Do
- Unload shipments of plants, hardgoods, and other gardening products from incoming trucks.
- Stage plants and merchandise in an organized and visually appealing manner to ensure easy access and an enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
- Water and care for plants, including regular maintenance and monitoring of plant health.
- Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and provide guidance on gardening needs.
- Help load products and plants into customer vehicles, ensuring a positive and helpful interaction.
- Support site maintenance by keeping the grounds neat and tidy.
- Collaborate with the team to manage and receive shipments, including hardgoods and seasonal items.
- Provide top-tier customer service, always maintaining a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable attitude.
Skills We Are Seeking
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the workday.
- Must be safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others and work together to meet team goals.
- Passionate about gardening, plants, and landscaping. Experience in the green industry or familiarity with plant care, nursery products, or gardening supplies is a plus.
- Previous experience operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
