General Purpose
SiteWise LLC. has been awarded a maintenance contract with the City of Amarillo, TX.
We are looking to hire an electric meter technician to provide a variety of services surrounding Xcel Energy's electric meters in and around the City of Amarillo, TX
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Driving (50 - 75 % a day) and navigating throughout the service area for the City of Amarillo, Texas
- Entering residential and commercial property to access the electric meters to perform required work
- Exchanging electric meters to the new AMI electric meter
- Working with energized electric equipment
- Providing customer service with responsibility and humility
- Working with pride and a high quality of workmanship
Other Duties/Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned
Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.
Experience:
- Preferred 3 Phase Metering Experience
- Two (2 ) plus years of customer service experience required
- Two (2 ) plus years of working with electricity preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis
Additional Requirement/Licenses/Certifications:
- Candidates must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and pass a pre-employment drug screen
Education or Formal Training:
- HS Diploma or GED
