What are the responsibilities and job description for the ICT Copper/Fiber Cable Technician - Indianapolis, Indiana position at SiteWise?
We are looking for committed, detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team as ICT Copper/Fiber Cable Technicians. Successful applicants will be responsible for all aspects of copper and fiber cable installation and support including testing, troubleshooting, documentation and maintenance of twisted pair and fiber optic network cable.
Experience working on construction job sites and in occupied buildings (schools, offices, warehouses, etc.) is a plus. Outside plant copper and fiber cabling experience is also preferred but not required.
Industry training such as from BICSI and field experience are preferred but not required. We provide on-the-job and paid classroom training for dedicated and motivated individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review proposal and engineering documents and drawings to understand project scope of work and project deliverables
- Manage equipment, material, and labor resources to complete installation objectives
- Complete project as-builts records in real-time
- Coordinate with our project management team as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising Information and Communication (ICT) network copper cabling and fiber optic cabling projects is preferred
- Outside Plant experience is desirable
- Two-year trade school degree in construction, computer technology, electrical or mechanical technology or a related field is preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Working knowledge of blueprints and construction documents
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Superior communications and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to produce results at a high level with minimal supervision
