Job Summary
Director, Marketing - Mobile, IoT & Consumer has key responsibilities over the product portfolio, roadmap, and strategy for the Mobile, IoT & Consumer business unit at SiTime. This includes complete product lifecycle management of relevant products from product concept and initial product specification through product launch and general availability. In this role, you will develop an in-depth knowledge of timing markets, applications and customers while promoting SiTime's revolutionary MEMS timing products. You will use your timing expertise to drive SiTime roadmap and strategy across the rapidly growing applications within the Mobile devices, IoT and Consumer market segments. You will serve as a key product and technical expert within the business unit for the sales force in support of driving design wins, revenue and maximizing gross margins. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.
Responsibilities :
- Develop business cases for new products and participate in product and business unit strategy development.
- Strategy and brand development
- Create detailed functional product requirements and high-level marketing requirements.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to validate and successfully negotiate business and technical requirements.
- Serve as the technical and product advocate in support of strategic account and reference design partner development.
- Develop customer education focused technical collaterals that raise SiTime's profile as the timing expert for relevant business unit applications.
- Manage new product rollout to customers, sales channels, and media, including development of competitive analysis, product positioning, pricing, selling proposition and public collateral.
- Own the planning and execution of product launches. Develop launch strategies, timelines, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a successful market introduction.
- Collaborate with sales and operations on forecast and volume ramps across relevant market segments.
- Business travel to visit customers, partners, and industry trade shows.
