The City and Borough of Sitka is hiring temporary workers to assist with seasonal building maintenance. These positions perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to: Performing exterior facility washing and cleaning.Applying paint and finishes to interior and exterior walls.Replacing and cleaning HVAC filters to maintain air quality.Assisting maintenance staff with repairs and preventative maintenance.Organizing and cleaning supply rooms and mechanical spaces.Transporting and disposing of waste materials.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Applicants must have the ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor outside in potentially adverse weather conditions.
