We are looking for a mentor to help out 9 years old learn work ethic and how to do chores (washing / folding laundry, picking up after himself, making simple meals for himself) beyond the things that we try to emulate for him as a family. I struggle with ADHD and know that my brain works differently from my sons when it comes to chores and I don’t want him to have the same struggles I have faced with staying on top of tasks!Our son is sweet, funny, easily distracted, and has a heart of gold. He struggles with anxiety when he thinks he won’t be perfect at something which has caused some power struggles with trying things outside of his comfort zone. The ideal person would be able to give a couple of hours 1-2x / week in the evenings, is kind, but sets boundaries.
