What are the responsibilities and job description for the After school caregiver for my ASD / ADHD 7 year old position at Sittercity.com?
Hi! We are looking for an afterschool caregiver for our 7 year old son, Mon-Friday around 230pm-530pm during the school year.
Our son is a highly functioning autistic and ADHD first grader, and soon to be second grader! He attends the Aaron School in Manhattan, and we live in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.
We are looking for help afterschool so that my husband and I can work full time, and looking for someone comfortable and familiar with special education children. Specific job duties may include: picking him up from the bus (which is right in front of our apartment!), helping with homework, and bringing him to any afterschool activities.
We are ideally looking for the 2024/2025 school year, but open to starting now part time to get him familiar and making sure it's a good fit for both of us!
Salary : $20 - $30
