Chestnut Hill Full-time Nanny/Household Manager

Nanny Kate & Co. is seeking a full-time Nanny/Household Manager for a family in Chestnut Hill with two children, ages 4 and 6, starting as soon as possible. The family will guarantee 40 hours per week and they’re flexible to adapt to a schedule that suits the nanny (i.e. 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm, etc.). They would love to find someone interested in a long term match (3 years). A great fit for this role is a mature professional who is ready to become a true extension of the parenting team; someone dynamic, adaptable, communicative, discrete, with a positive attitude. Mom is home part-time so someone collaborative and ready to jump in where needed for the successful running of a busy home would work well in this role. A nanny who is kind, thoughtful, patient, consistent, transparent, encouraging, intuitive, and firm but loving, who will take time to build relationships with the children and focus on their interests and needs will be a great addition to the family. Meal planning, prep, and cooking for the children is an important part of this role so those inclined to thoughtful and simple preparation of healthy foods please apply! Driving is required for this position. There is a nanny vehicle for use during working hours. Commuters via public transit are encouraged to apply as the family lives in walking distance to the Chestnut Hill T stop. Love to travel? They do too! And they may ask you to join them (approx. 6-8 weeks per year), but not a requirement of the position. The family has a pet cat, and is possibly getting a dog in the future, so please be pet friendly. Compensation: $38 /hour with guaranteed hours, generous benefits package, and all pay on the books.
